After a few days of public speculation, singer Rachelle Ann Go is now officially a Kapuso! Rachelle and her manager, Ms. Veronique del Rosario-Corpus of Viva Artist Agency, signed an exclusive contract on Wedensday (April 7), at the GMA Network Center. Rachelle's first project with the Kapuso network is the Sunday musical-variety show Party Pilipinas, where she will join fellow Viva artist Mark Bautista. Rachelle and Mark used to be part of ABS-CBN's ASAP XV, which has the same timeslot as Party Pilipinas. Aside from Party Pilipinas, Rachelle will appear in the upcoming projects of GMA-7. It may be recalled that PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) was the first to break the news that Rachelle would move to Party Pilipinas. This is sort of a homecoming for Rachelle, who won in Search For A Star in 2004, a singing contest co-produced by GMA-7 and Viva Entertainment hosted by Regine Velasquez. - Erwin Santiago, PEP
