iGMA: Sen Bong Revilla Jr. and Vic Sotto join forces in Si Agimat at Si Enteng Kabisote


The mythical journey of the legendary Pinoy hero and the comedic exploits of the simple 'tagalupa' converge in this year’s biggest and most eagerly anticipated entry in the 36thMetro Manila Film Festival, Si Agimat At Si Enteng Kabisote, jointly produced by five of the industry’s largest movies outfits – GMA Films, Imus Productions, Octoarts Films, APT Entertainment and MZET Films.

Topbilled by certified box-office kings Bong Revilla Jr. and Bossing Vic Sotto, stars of two of last year’s highest grossing movies, Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote features the magical crossover of Agimat (Bong Revilla Jr.), a character inspired by the original Pepeng Agima tclassic, to the earthly world of Enteng Kabisote (Vic Sotto). While fulfilling his quest of vanquishing the dangerous “halimaws", Agimat was unexpectedly led to the portals of Encantasia, where he meets Enteng, a low-profile do-it-yourself technician married to a beautiful fairy. As Enteng and Agimat face several challenges in the Black Forest, the two are forced to combine their brains and brawns in order to destroy the wicked Satana, while battling with zombies, snakes, other treacherous creatures along the way. As Agimat wields power using his magical amulet and Enteng, his miraculous sword, will their clashing personalities lead them to victory, or bitter defeat? Will good prevail over evil in the end? Joining Senator Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto in this year’s grandest movie collaboration are some of today’s brightest and most promising stars – Gwen Zamora as Faye, Enteng’s enchanting wife; and Sam Pinto as Samara, the audacious heroine from Agimat’s homeland, Mahapay. Playing equally important roles are Amy Perez as Ina Magenta; Bing Loyzaga as Satana; Aiza Seguerra as Aiza, Enteng’s eldest daughter;Oyo Sotto as Benok, Enteng’s son; Ruby Rodriguez as Amy, the Kabisote’s trusty househelp; Jose Manalo as Jose, Amy’s husband; Wally Bayola as Upaw, Bratty’s bodyguard; Mikylla Ramirez as Ada, Enteng’s youngest daughter; Ellen Adarna as Aryanna, an enkantada; ER Ejercito as Ragat; and Benjie Paras as Abugan. Adding excitement to the movie are GMA Tweens Barbie Forteza as Bratty, Enteng’s godchild; Joshua Dionisio as Jason, a male fairy; Jake Vargas as Udoy; Bea Binene as Saling, agimat’s companions in fighting the halimaws; and in a very special role, Jillian Ward as Bebeng, a young girl from Mahapay. Completing the cast are Alex Crisano as the venomous Ragat; Robert Fernandez as Balggog; King Gutierrez as Burgog; Junyka Santarin as Sitang and Kim Thomas Bon as Bansot. Directed by Tony Y. Reyes, Agimat en Enteng was shot entirely in full high-definitiopn (HD) using the latest, state-of-the-art Arri D21 HD Digital camera, and post-processed using the most sophisticated editing technology – just one of the many reasons why this movie is truly worth watching. The most spectacular movie collaboration happens in Si Agimat At Si Enteng Kabisote, beginning December 25 in all leading theaters across the country.
