Known for producing groundbreaking programs, GMA Network introduces another unique and innovative show on Philippine television. On Monday, August 1, the very first danserye titled Time of My Life premieres on GMA Telebabad. Time of My Life features three of Starstruck's most talented discoveries who have all matured in their craft - Kris Bernal, Rocco Nacino http://www.igma.tv/profile/rocco-nacino, and Mark Herras. Viewers should also look forward to seasoned actors Jean Garcia, Raymond Bagatsing, and Cherie Gil showing off their dancing talents. Packed with amazing dance and drama scenes, the danserye tells of Shane's (Kris) quest to fulfill her dream of becoming a real dancer. In the process of exploring the field of dancing, she uncovers things of the past.
Will Fred and Lisa ever discover who Shane really is? Will this truth help or prevent the young dancer from fulfilling her dream? Will their family be reunited or drawn apart by arising complications? A story about family, love and dreams, Time of My Life will inspire viewers to take hold of their loved ones as they work hard for their aim in life. Completing the cast of the danserye are reputable actors: Ms. Caridad Sanchez as Lola Becky, the woman whom Patrick regarded as his grandmother; Rez Cortez as Douglas, Carlotta's husband who will make life difficult for Shane; Samantha Lopez as Lucinda, owner of the night club where Shane works; Geleen Eugenio as Janet, close friend of Lisa and choreographer of The Elite Crew; Joshua Zamora as Mario, Fred's best friend; and Ronnie Henares as Vernon, the lawyer who frees Martha from jail. Time of My Life also showcases young talents who form the two dance troupes. The Elite Crew are composed of the following: Steven Silva as John, Enzo Pineda as Donnie, Diva Motelaba as Lally, Yassi Pressman as Terry, Myra Carel (Jump In 1st runner up) as Paula. On the other hand, Motion Masters is composed of: Ryza Cenon as Rochelle, Sarah Lahbati as Pia, Sef Cadayona as Harry, Mayton Eugenio as Amera, Ken Chan as Rudolph, Teejay Marquez as Chicho, Renelee Asilum (Jump In grand winner) as Cynthia. The very first danserye is based on original concept created for GMA Television by Senedy Que with head writer Des Garbes Severino, choreographers Miggy Tanchanco (modern) and Donald Balbuena (ballroom), and directors Mark Reyes (musicals) and Andoy Ranay (drama).
