Dad Gabby Concepcion tells KC: Move forward from breakup

Actor Gabby Concepcion advised his daughter KC Concepcion to move on and remain strong amid the latter's public breakup with actor Piolo Pascual.

 

In a report on morning newscast "News To Go," Gabby said he understands the pain that his daughter is going through. 

 

"Maraming challenges sa buhay 'di ba, pero 'yung pinagdadaanan niyang challenge... ewan ko kung mananalo pa siya sa challenge na 'yon," he said.

Gabby also told his daughter to move on and forget about what happened.

 

"Life goes on. Let's move forward and forget about the past," he said. "We only learn from the hurt that happens to us." Something 'basic' missing

 

Over the weekend, KC Concepcion granted an interview with showbiz talk show "The Buzz," where she told host Boy Abunda that her relationship with Pascual is over.

 

She said in the interview that there was something "basic" she was looking for in a boyfriend that she did not find in her relationship with Pascual.

 

"Ayoko na sigurong pumunta sa details, Tito Boy, kasi ayokong siraan siya," she said. "Pero let's just say na lahat talaga kaya ko, lahat."

 

"May mga bagay na hindi ko na kayang lunukin, hindi ko na kayang tanggapin," she added.

 

Abunda asked KC if there was a third party involved, but the actress refused to answer the question. — with Candice Montenegro/RSJ, GMA News
