Love on air: Jennylyn, Patrick bare affair on TV

A flustered but smiling Jennylyn Mercado admitted live on national television on Sunday that she loves Patrick Garcia, who in turn, via telephone from General Santos City, said that he loves her. It was through the prodding questions of Paolo Bediones, S Files host that the couple made the admission. Bediones, however, told Mercado towards the end of the interview that he had no idea that was going to happen. Bediones asked Garcia if admitting they loved each other meant they were now a couple. "Dapat lang sana," Garcia said, but added that it was up to Mercado. Earlier in the interview, Mercado was relating how Garcia was trying to woo even her mother. Mercado is on the cover of the January 2007 issue of Maxim. Garcia is in the cast of GMA's Captain Barbell. - GMANews.TV
