The events of the last few days have shown the impact of the late Comedy King Rodolfo “Dolphy” Vera Quizon Sr. on the nation, Malacañang said Sunday.   Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte stressed this as she reiterated the Palace’s sympathy to the late ace comedian’s loved ones, moments before he was buried in Taguig City.   “Nakita natin ang naging impact ni Mang Dolphy sa ating bansa. Patuloy ang ating pakikiramay sa kanyang naulila at kaibigan,” Valte said on government-run dzRB radio.   She said President Benigno Aquino III had already acceded to the request of Dolphy’s family to remember the happy side of Dolphy by declaring a day of remembrance instead of mourning for him.   Dolphy was to be buried at the Heritage Park in Taguig City Sunday afternoon, five days after he died at the Makati Medical Center.   The veteran actor-comedian would have turned 84 on July 25. –KG, GMA News
