American Idol finalist Jessica Sanchez arrives in Manila

Filipina-Mexican-American singing sensation Jessica Sanchez and fellow American Idol Season 11 competitors arrived to a warm welcome in Manila early Tuesday.
 
"Mabuhay! Welcome to the Philippines!" PAL said on its Twitter account shortly after 6 a.m.
 
AI winner Phillip Phillips and finalists Joshua Ledet, Colton Dixon, and Skylar Laine arrived with Sanchez.
 
Before boarding their flight to the Philippines in Los Angeles, the Season 11 competitors had tweeted their excitement.
 
"Ayy, just feelin good," tweeted Sanchez.
 
"Trying to get my mind ready for the Philippines! Haha loooonnggg flight," tweeted Phillips.
 
"Business class to Manila. Awesome," said Dixon.
 
"Down the terminal went season 11 Idol alum, look out Philippines here we come!" tweeted Laine.
 
Ledet, who generated some controversy in an earlier tweet, said he was also excited to visit the Philippines.
 
"I'm excited about the Philippines Just not the flight! Don't take my last tweet the wrong way!" he said.
 
Ledet had tweeted earlier that he was "not excited" about the 18-hour flight. — DVM, GMA News
