Kris, sons leave for Europe

TV host-actress Kris Aquino Kris Aquino on Saturday evening left for a two-week vacation in Europe with her two sons, less than a week after she hogged the headlines with her latest controversy. Aquino boarded a flight for Paris with sons Joshua and Bimby after a Makati court denied ex-husband James Yap's bid for a hold departure order that would have prevented her and Bimby from leaving the country, "24 Oras" reported. Kris would not give further comments on the court case, but thanked all those who supported and "defended" her and her children. "I wanted to shield myself from the negativity, but I didn't awnt to deprive myself of the chance to see the positivity," she said as she read comments on her social networking accounts. She also became emotional, saying nothing is easy in life and one has little choice but to go through it. Kris said she plans to spend two weeks abroad for rest and prayer. — with Rouchelle R.
