After meeting with comedian Vice Ganda (Jose Marie Viceral in real life) and executives of his mother network ABS-CBN over a rape joke he made at the expense of TV news anchor Jessica Soho, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board has set similar meetings with two more TV networks.
The MTRCB said on its Twitter account Thursday afternoon it will hold meetings with executives of GMA Network on June 20, and TV5 on June 27.

Last week, the MTRCB bared plans to call the attention of TV networks after Vice Ganda was criticized for making a rape joke at the expense of TV news personality Jessica Soho, vice president for news programs of ABS-CBN’s rival GMA Network.
Vice Ganda made the joke during his show last May 17. On May 29, he apologized to Soho on his noontime program.
Soho acknowledged the apology and said she “sincerely hope(s) and pray(s) that this was done with the purest intentions and determination to put this issue behind us.”

Meanwhile, the MTRCB said chairman Eugenio Villareal urged ABS-CBN and Vice Ganda to put up a comedy academy to develop "more creative yet responsible comedy."
