Gladys Reyes on Pyra: 'This is one of the memorable teleseryes that I’ve done'

The relationship of celebrity couple Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas is living testament that true love does exist in this modern world. They have been together for nine years as husband and wife and 11 years as girlfriend and boyfriend.

In a recent interview with the Kapuso actress Gladys Reyes, she shared with GMANetwork.com what she wants to give his loyal husband on this special season. Admittedly, the Kapuso kontrabida said that they don’t really celebrate Christmas that much because of her religion. But this doesn’t stop her from giving that perfect gift to the person she loves the most.

“Itong Pyra Babaeng Apoy, natutuwa ako for Christopher kasi maganda ‘yong role na naibigay sa kanya. It’s his first time to work with GMA pero nakakatuwa na nabigyan siya ng opportunity at napagkatiwalaan siya for this role na father nga ni Pyra. Napaka-challenging for him,” she proudly said.

“This is one of the memorable teleseryes that I’ve done. Dahil kasama ko rito ang husband ko si Christopher Roxas. Hindi man kami talagang nagka-eksena pero nakakatuwa na during tapings magkasama kami. Masaya na kasama mo sa trabaho ‘yong mahal mo,” she happily said.

She shared that she will always be beside Christopher when it comes to his career. “Ang wish ko more challenging roles for me and my husband.”

As though this is not enough, she revealed that she has something special for Christopher when they celebrate their wedding 10th wedding anniversary

What might that be? “Naisip ko ‘yung gustong-gusto niya. He loves to travel.”

A good mother to her kids, Gladys always made sure that the welfare of their kids was her first priority. But this doesn’t mean that being a good wife is not her priority either.

“Titingnan ko kasi ‘yong priority namin are the kids. Given the opportunity, gusto ko sana mag-travel ulit kami together just like what we did noong last birthday niya. It was my gift to him, yung nag-Singapore kami. Another out of the country trip with him. Just the two of us para another bonding na kami lang. Siyempre, iba rin naman ang bonding namin with the kids.”

She added, “Ito ‘yong hindi ka mais-stress sa pagsaway sa ganito o kaya kailangan mo naman asikasuhin ang mga kids. Siyempre, mahahati pa rin ‘yong oras mo with the kids and your husband.”
