Jake Vargas has Bea's name tattooed on his arm

In some cultures, tattoos symbolize traits like bravery and leadership. In others, getting inked signifies coming-of-age, having a family, being appointed as leaders, or even death. Today, tattoos are also considered as self-expression. Prominent in the international entertainment industry, tattooed artists include Adam Levine, Justin Bieber, Eminem, One Direction, and Chris Brown to name a few.

Like them, Kapuso young actor Jake Vargas is no stranger to tattoos.

“Name ng mother ko yung first tattoo ko,” Jake  shared. His mom, who passed away last 2011, was very dear to his heart which is why he decided to have her name inked.



Fans were shocked when Jake exposed his second tattoo on Instagram. Most of them questioned whether it was real or not. We asked Jake at the Pepito Manaloto photoshoot what the real story was.
 
“Name ni Bea yung second tattoo ko,” he confirmed. He was referring to girlfriend of two years, Bea Binene. For Jake, young as they were, getting Bea’s name tattooed spelled commitment.

“Worth it yung pagpapatattoo ko kasi para kay Bea naman,” Jake added. Like his mom, Bea continues to make a big impact on his life. Needless to say, Jake unconditionally loves them both.

Bea was just as surprised as everybody else. “Akala niya maliit lang pero pagkakita niya during our rehearsal for Sunday All Stars, nagulat siya kasi medyo malaki.” Bea was definitely shocked but was very touched and happy about it, Jake explained.
 
Despite the sweet gesture which made so many JhaBea fans swoon, there are still some who are wondering what the Kapuso young actor would do should they decide to call it quits. “Actually, naisip ko na ‘yon pero wala eh, mahal ko talaga si Bea eh, sobra.
