Carla Abellana and Ryan Agoncillo to play married couple in a sitcom

 
She’s a Kapuso leading lady known for her roles in drama, while he is a talented variety and game show host. Together, Carla Abellana and Ryan Agoncillo make a talented on-screen pair.

Carla and Ryan have worked briefly with each other in My Husband’s Lover. They will be bringing something new to the table in their newest sitcom, Ismol Family. 

24 Oras reported that both lead stars have already shot for the show’s teaser together with other cast members, Carmi Martin, Mikael Daez, Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali.

Carla will be playing an OFW in the sitcom. She elaborated, “Welder ako sa Dubai. Paano nga ba na matitira dito ‘yung tatay? Magiging house husband o houseband siya (Ryan Agoncillo).”

What makes Ismol Family different from other sitcoms?

Ryan said, “Most sitcoms we know are shot on a studio. Ito, we will be shooting on location.”
