Eat Bulaga to undergo major change?

Popular noontime show Eat Bulaga is about to undergo a major change which will result in the firing of some of its hosts, a Showbiz Central report revealed on Sunday. The report cites a "master list" which supposedly contains the names of the hosts to be let-go. On top of the list is dancer/host Sugar Mercado. Mercado did not directly deny that she has been fired, but said it won't be hard for her to go back to being poor. "Yan ang kagandahan ng nagsimula sa mahirap. Di ka mahihirapan na bumalik sa kahirapan," Mercado told Showbiz Central. Reportedly also in the list is Ruby Rodriguez, Ciara Sotto, Paolo Ballesteros, the EB Babes dancers, Mr. Pogi contest winners, and all hosts who are seeking elective government posts. However, TAPE Inc. senior vice president Malou Choa-Fagar, who is in charge of Eat Bulaga, has denied that there is a shake-up looming. Choa-Fagar said that Sotto and Rodriguez, who have not been seen on recent Eat Bulaga episodes, are in the United States for a series of shows. - GMANews.TV
