Rocco Nacino still wants to become a doctor

Even with his thriving career in show business, Rocco Nacino still has one major dream that he’s yet to achieve– become a doctor.

 

In an interview on the GMA Network late night show, 'Walang Tulugan', the Kapuso actor disclosed that he still has intentions of getting a medical degree. Rocco took up Nursing for his undergraduate studies.

 

“Gusto ko ituloy into Medicine ['yung Nursing degree ko],” he said.

 

The dream is currently put on hold for another dream– the dream to make waves in show business.

 

“Sinacrifice ko 'yung [pag-practice ng Nursing] although ang initial plan ko was to go to Med school, para maging pediatrician. Isinantabi ko muna. Showbiz muna,” he added.

 

Although Rocco still doesn’t have definite plans as to when, he strongly believes in the possibility of getting into the medical field.

 

“Tingin ko possible pa rin [maging Doctor ako]. In seven years siguro? [Pero] kung kaya ko ipagsabay, better. Pero it depends sa decision ko in a few years [at] kung ano tatakbuhin ng career ko dito,” he noted. — ELR, GMA News
