Madonna sings ‘Crazy for You’ for Pinoys, a song she last sang 30 years ago onstage
Queen of Pop Madonna had a surprise for her fans who trooped to the second night of her Rebel Heart concert in Manila on Thursday.
In solidarity with a nation celebrating the 30th anniversary of the People Power Revolution, Madonna sang "Crazy For You," a song she said she has not sung on stage in 30 years.
"Just for you. First time in the Philippines. And the first time I sang that song onstage in 30 years," Madonna said after rendering the song.
With cellphones in the air aiming for a shot at the pop queen as she did the slow song, fans joined Madonna in singing the 80s hit.
TV host Tim Yap said on Instagram, "Bravo, #madonna for the second time around!"
"My absolute highlight is my queen @madonna singing #crazyforyou she hasn't sung this song live & in concert in over a decade!" fashion designer Rajo Laurel said on Instagram.
