Janine Tugonon set to fly back to PHL for documentary film
Model and beauty queen Janine Tugonon is getting ready to go back to the Philippines for the shooting of a documentary film about the 12 NU Muses, who will be featured in a calendar which aims to revisit the classic art of nude.
Janine will be showing off life in her hometown—the province of Bataan—as well as the rich culture and arts of the Philippines.
“DONE. BOOKED. Two of our @numuses documentary film crew and I are coming to the Philippines!! They thought it'd be great to see my hometown (BATAAN I MISS YOU), how my life is there, our culture and our take on arts!” the NU Muse and Miss Universe 2012 1st runner-up said.
She added, “As for me, I am excited to eat fishballs in the streets and pandesal and drink fresh buko that doesn't cost $5 each! SSEE YOU REALLY REALLY SOON PHILIPPINES!!”

According to photographer David Bellemer, who will shoot the 12 NU Muses, and treats! Magazine's Steve Shaw, they are looking to revisit the classic art of nude and "capture the elegance and romance of the female form, worthy of gracing fine art galleries and walls."
Before being selected as one of the NU Muses, Janine appeared as a beautiful student in “College Life,” an advertisement for Victoria's Secret Pink.
The former beauty queen pursued a modelling career in the US after placing first runner up in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant and the road may have been tough, but lady luck has been taking her side recently. —LBG, GMA News
