Mocha Uson ‘abounds with common sense,’ good choice for MTRCB —Sotto

Senate Majority Leader Vicente Sotto III said showbiz personality-turned-blogger Mocha Uson was a “very good choice” to be appointed to the Movie and Television Review And Classification Board (MTRCB).

“She is a very good choice because she abounds with common sense and knows the pulse of the public well,” Sotto said in a text message.

Asked if Uson was qualified for the post, Sotto said: “Yes, definitely.”

Presidential Communications Office head Secretary Martin Andanar described Uson, a staunch supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, as “one of the biggest artists” in the country.

"Mocha is an artist. She is one of the biggest artists that we have in the country. She's been in the show business world for more than a decade. She's one of the biggest bloggers that we have in the Philippines, very influential," Andanar said.

Uson's term as MTCRB board member will expire on September 30. —NB, GMA News
