'Baby Driver' is the right mix of thrilling action, sound, romance, and crime

"Baby Driver" is one of those films that successfully turns a typical heist drama film into the kind of fresh flick you’d want to walk into in your spare time.

Filipinos who crave all the elements in their standard action movie fare — action, romance, a very engaging soundtrack, and a star-studded cast — will be happy to know "Baby Driver" has all of them.

It is directed by Edgar Wright, of “Shaun Of The Dead” and “Hot Fuzz” fame, and stars "Divergent" movie series actor Ansel Elgort as the titular character, Baby, a very talented yet eccentric getaway driver who works a heist group and has a knack for music and sounds.

Filling out the supporting cast are heavy hitters like Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Hamm, and Jamie Foxx, who all add to Baby’s growth as a person when he finds love and tries to escape from his life of crime.

Unfortunately all that is easier said than done, and his fast-paced lifestyle quickly becomes one messy tune he needs to get out of in one piece.
