Anne Curtis addresses husband Erwan Heussaff's involvement in ‘Buhay Carinderia’ project
Amid the controversy surrounding the Tourism Promotions Board's "Buhay Carinderia" project, restaurateur and vlogger Erwan Heussaff has yet to issue a statement as its official "content creator."
His wife Anne Curtis in an appearance on Friday as a product endorser spoke with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and select members of the press and addressed the issue.
According to the report by Bernie V. Franco, Anne "made it clear that [Erwan] has nothing to do with the controversy."
“I know where Erwan's heart is talaga when it comes to that: it's always about pushing the Filipino food," the actor was quoted as saying. “Yun lang naman ang gusto niya, ma-highlight ang pagkain na mga Pilipino, so I support him with that.”
Heussaff was introduced as something of an ambassador to the carinderia culinary culture in April, a month before the program was questioned.
