KC on Richard: We're more in touch now

MANILA, Philippines - While rumors still remain rumors for the onscreen team up of KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez, the Megastar daughter admitted that she and the Kamandag star are closer now than before. “We don’t see each other often but we’re more in touch now than before," KC told GMA News Chika Minute on Tuesday during her record deal signing for Sony BMG. While the two have yet to admit to any budding romance, KC was not disappointed at how Richard diffuses any malicious rumors by being very vocal about their current status. “Alam na niya yung gagawin, wala na sa babae yung burden na magsalita (He already knows what to do and in turn it takes the burden of telling off the woman’s back)," KC beamed. Last month, Richard admitted to painstakingly researching the type of flowers Sharon Cuneta’s daughter favors before giving them to her. "Before ko siya binigyan ng flowers (I give her flowers), I had to do my research kung ano talaga ang favorite flowers niya (what flowers were her favorites). And I did, I did my research and I'm glad that she liked it," he said over GMA Network’s Showbiz Central. Asked about what his true intentions are for KC, Richard added, "Right now, with all honesty, I'm still trying to get to know KC. For now, I just have the most sincere and curious intentions for her. I really want to get to know her deeper." Talks of a Richard-KC tandem have sprung up in recent weeks with rival film outfits Star Cinema (sister-company of ABS-CBN) and GMA Films being vocally open to such possibility. - Mark Ubalde, GMANews.TV
