MANILA, Philippines- After more than 35 years of absence in the movie scene, the feisty Annabel Rama felt at ease after the first shooting day of her newest comedy film, âMy Monster Mom." â Nagulat nga ako yung mga dialog ko sa bahay nasa script eh. Kaya nga medyo kumportable ako sa mga dialog dahil ako talaga yun(I was surprised to find my own dialogues at home in the script. I became comfortable with the dialog because it really reflects who I am)," Annabel told Chika Minute reporter Aubrey Carampel. Ruffa Gutierrez will star with Annabel in the movie directed by award-winning Jose Javier Reyes and produced by Regal films matriarch Lily Monteverde. Annabel earlier said she accepted Mother Lilyâs offer because she wanted to renovate an old house which her son, Richard, bought them. Meanwhile, Ruffa is optimistic that her motherâs acting will keep improving in the following days. âFrom a scale of 1 to 10, bibigyan ko siya ng 8 (Iâll give her an 8). I think in the coming days, mag-iimprove pa siya kasi parang true-to-life eh(sheâll improve because it seems so true-to-life)," Ruffa candidly said. âLumalabas talaga yung acting niya âpag sinasabi kong âMa, kunwari ako yung sinisigawan mo(Her acting really comes out when I say â Ma, pretend youâre angry at meâ),â" she added. Meanwhile, the sharped-tongued Annabel was quick to say that she is serious in her acting. ââDi ko nga ginagawang comedy. Ewan ko, natatawa sila sa akin âpag ako nagsasalita. âDi ko alam kung bakit (Iâm not even trying to do comedy. I donât know, when I speak, they laugh. I donât really know why)," she said. - GMANews.TV
