Michelle Dee confidently says she is prepared for upcoming Miss Universe pageant

Since being crowned as Miss Universe Philippines 2023 back in May, Michelle Dee has been preparing herself in hopes of bringing home the country’s fifth Miss Universe crown.

The Kapuso beauty queen is set to fly to El Salvador, Central America in a few days and in a send-off media conference organized by her Sparkle GMA Artist Center family, Michelle confidently said she is ready for the upcoming international pageant.

“I am leaving in a few days, and I must say, personally, I am prepared in my core, my mind, my body,” the Sparkle star said.

“Through the Miss Universe [Philippines] competition, I really learned how to balance my effort, balance my energy, and hopefully, it shines through,” Michelle said, adding that she is now bigger, stronger, and wiser since her crowning and also her previous pageant stints.

According to Michelle, there are still a few last-minute preparations she needs to do, but “if anything, the only thing that I have to do is to make sure that everything that I fitted gets into my luggage properly.”

“‘Yun lang naman, dapat walang maiiwan dito sa Pilipinas,” she said, saying she currently has eight suitcases packed and on standby.

[That's the only thing. I need to make sure I don't leave anything behind.]

Earlier this month, Michelle gave a glimpse of her fierce pasarela walk for the prestigious pageant.

In her Miss Universe advocacy video released earlier this week, Michelle continued to advocate for autism awareness, saying it is “very close” to her heart.

She will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2023 competition to be held in El Salvador on November 18.

Good luck, Michelle
