Bea Alonzo teases fans ahead of ‘Widow’s War,’ says series is ‘dark, exciting’ project

Ahead of her upcoming series, “Widow’s War,” Bea Alonzo went on a fun trip to Japan with her fiancé, Dominic Roque.

In Cata Tibayan’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, Bea clarified that the trip did not yet include their prenup shoot.

“Japan talaga iyong favorite place namin. Dun kasi nagstart iyong love story namin, pinunta namin is to ski, it was memorable kasi ang dami kong falls but then, everyday I was getting better,” the Kapuso actress said.

Following the success of “Love Before Sunrise,” Bea is now set to star in the heavy and intense drama, “Widow’s War.”

“It’s going to be an exciting soap because it’s my first time doing this genre, ‘yung whodunit genre, medyo dark siya. Normally, nalilinya ako sa romcoms or drama na heavy, first time na medjo dark,” she said.

“Dun kayo sa edge ng seat niyo. Ganun, ganun ‘yung ibibigay niyang feeling sa’yo,” she continued.

The series is among GMA Network's primetime offerings this 2024.
