Nora Aunor's family and close friends gathered to remember the late Superstar on the first night of her wake.
The actress's remains are currently at the Heritage Park. Actress Nadia Montenegro has shared photos from the wake on Instagram.
According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Thursday, some celebrities who have arrived to pay their respects include Vilma Santos, Senator Robin Padilla, Boots Anson-Roa, Melissa Mendez, and Glenda Garcia.
Nora died on Wednesday, April 16, at the age of 71.
The multi-awarded actress was named National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022. Some of her best films can be streamed online, including "Himala," "Minsa'y Isang Gamu-gamo," and "Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos."
The second night of her wake on Friday will be reserved for family and friends only, but public viewing is scheduled on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nora will also have a state funeral before her interment at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Tuesday.
