Influencer to file complaint after photo of her baby gets used in online child pornography

An influencer will file a complaint before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after a photo of her baby was used to generate online child pornography.

As seen in Nico Waje's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, influencer and CEO Queen Hera cried after learning about what happened to the picture of her daughter, Baby Diamond.  

"May nag-message sa 'kin na isang nanay or mother na about daw sa victim daw 'yung anak niya ng cyber crime or ginagamit daw 'yung video nung anak niya para ibenta," she said. "Nung nag scroll daw siya doon sa website, nakita daw niya 'yung picture ng anak ko and then sinend sa akin 'yung picture."

"Dinikit dun sa larawan nung ari ng lalaki, na parang 'yung nagsasalita 'yung anak ko nakabuka 'yung bibig, nakadikit doon. Mapapamura ka talaga sa galit. Sobrang bata pa ng anak ko para babuyin nila ng ganun," she continued.

The image was being sold for P1,500 or USD$26. Queen Hera said an IT professional is helping her trace who is behind it.

The National Privacy Commission (NPC) said online child pornography cases is on the rise due to artifical intelligence (AI).

"Maaaring gamitin ito para gawan ng masama or iedit yung picture at gamitin sa isang video na hindi kaaya aya," said Roren Marie Chin, Public Information and Assistance Division Chief of NPC.

"Ang amin lang paalala ay palaging maging maingat at mapanuri sa pinopost natin. I-set natin 'yung ating Facebook, social media account sa private na setting kung saan 'yung mga kakilala natin 'yung mga nakaka-access."

Queen Hera, meanwhile, vowed to seek justice for her daughter.

"Anak, mapapanood mo 'to one day, so I feel so sorry kasi nangyari sa 'yo 'to. Iniisip ko palang na until now, andun pa rin 'yung pictures mo at wala ako magawa para mapatanggal 'yun. I'm so sorry, anak." —MGP, GMA Integrated News
