Shuvee Etrata, 'TiktoClock' hosts, more stars offer prayers for Cebuanos after earthquake
Shuvee Etrata and several Kapuso stars expressed their concern for Cebuanos after a magnitude-6.9 earthquake struck Cebu.
According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, among the affected structures was the St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Bantayan, where Shuvee grew up.
"Sa mga taga-Cebu diyan, sa mga taga-San Remigio, patuloy lang po sa panalangin, 'wag mag-give up. 'Yung mga nasalanta sa mga nakakaranas ng hirap o nahihirapan, ipagdasal ko kayo para mas maging strong pa kayo at 'di mag-give up," Shuvee said.
The Sparkle star added that she has sent help and she plans to make time to visit personally.
Manilyn Reynes, Gazini Ganados, Beatrice Gomez, and Vina Morales likewise joined in expressing sympathy and support through their social media accounts.
Meanwhile, "TiktoClock" hosts, including Pokwang, Kim Atienza, Faith Da Silva, Allen Ansay, Kris Bernal, and more, came together for a quick prayer for Cebu during the show.
The earthquake hit Bogo City, Cebu at 9:59 p.m. on Tuesday. As of Wednesday afternoon, a total of 63 fatalities were recorded.
