Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Anthony Rosaldo pay tribute to Emman Atienza
Sparkle GMA Artist Center and Anthony Rosaldo have paid tribute to Emman Atienza following her passing.
On social media Tuesday, Kuya Kim Atienza shared a tribute video that Sparkle made in honor of his daughter, Emman.
The video featured Emman during happier times, including a clip of her at a Christmas outreach for children. It also featured childhood photos of Emman with her parents Kuya Kim and Felicia, and siblings Jose and Eliana.
"Though her story ended too soon, her voice still echoes — in laughter, in courage, in every heart she touched," the video said.
Kuya Kim expressed his gratitude to the talent agency for the touching tribute.
"Thank you for the meaningful 19 years of my dearest Emmansky Lord. She shall forever live in our hearts. A little kindness everyday. (Thank you for the tribute video [Sparkle GMA Artist Center)," he wrote.
Emman's fellow Sparkle star Anthony also paid tribute to her by singing at her wake.
On Instagram, he shared a video of himself performing a heartfelt rendition of Twila Paris' Christian song "The Warrior is a Child" in her honor.
Anthony also offered his condolences to Emman's family.
"Rest in peace, Emman Atienza. Taos pusong nakikiramay po kami sa inyo [Kuya Kim] at sa buong pamilya," he wrote.
Emman's wake is currently being held at Chapel 5 at The Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.
Her passing was announced by her family on October 24. She was 19 years old.
In what would be her last message on her Instagram broadcast channel, posted on September 1, Emman opened up about the pressures of social media.
In Kuya Kim's interview with Jessica Soho, aired on "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" Sunday, he said he remains grateful for the "19 beautiful years" of Emman.
He also reminded parents about the seriousness of mental health during his interview with Vicky Morales in "24 Oras."
