Lloyd Cadena’s Facebook page reportedly hacked

The Facebook page of the late vlogger Lloyd Cadena has reportedly been compromised, prompting a call from his family and friends for the public to help mass report the account.

In a post shared online, Lloyd’s fellow content creator Madam Aivan asked followers to report the page, saying the family has been unable to recover it despite seeking help from Meta.

“Please help us mass report the page of my dear friend Lloyd. Although this is sad for us, hindi na rin kasi ma retrieve ang page na ‘to. Nanghingi na kami ng tulong dati kahit dun sa friend ko nagwowork dati sa Meta,” Madam Aivan said.

Per Madam Aivan, the family’s main concern is preventing the page from being misused.

“Ang gusto na lang ng family ni Lloyd is ipa-mass report ang page na ‘to para hindi na magamit sa kung ano-anong posting lalo at it’s just a matter of time bago tuluyang palitan ng hackers ang name ng page ni Lloyd. Hope you can share this post para mas maraming makapag report. On behalf of Lloyd’s family, we thank you in advance!”

As of this writing, the Facebook page remains active with 5.4 million followers, although its profile picture has been changed to “Coffee News.”

Lloyd, known for his humorous and relatable content, passed away in 2020.
