SB19 graces Billboard Japan magazine

SB19 has been featured by Billboard Japan for an interview and photoshoot.

The P-Pop Kings posed for portraits for the magazine and also talked about their new songs on the album "Wakas at Simula," their rise to international fame, and their creative process, among others.

Stell said that the most important thing for them when releasing music is the message they want to convey.

"A lot of difficult things happen in life, but we're here for our fans. We'd be happy if we could connect with everyone not just through our music, but as people," Stell said, according to a translation.

He added that they value showcasing each member's individuality.

"We think that if we highlight each person's individuality and include various elements in one album, it will leave a lasting impression," he said.

Justin added that it is important for SB19 to be open with their feelings during the creative process.

"Each of the five members has different ideas, so it works well when we properly share our feelings," he said.

"We sometimes clash in opinion, but that's what leads to interesting things. Being open is paramount for SB19," Justin added.

SB19 released their new album, "Wakas at Simula," on March 27.  It combines the tracks from the group's EP trilogy, "Pagsibol," "Pagtatag," and "Simula at Wakas."

It also includes six new songs, including "Emoji," a collaboration with Queen of C-Pop JOLIN, and "Toyfriend," a collaboration with J-Pop group Be:First.

SB19 appeared at the Dance Universe Never Killed or the DUNK Showcase in Japan earlier this March, along with Cup of Joe and BGYO.

The group is set to hold their "Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale" on April 18 at the SMDC Festival Grounds.

They are also set to perform at Lollapalooza 2026, which will be held in Chicago, Illinois, from July 30 to August 2, and the Summer Sonic in Japan on August 15.
