Calista parts ways with Merlion Entertainment, signs with Wide International

Calista has moved to Wide International after parting ways with their former management, Merlion Entertainment.

On Instagram, Merlion released a statement announcing the end of their relationship with the group members.

"The management partnership between Merlion Entertainment and Anne Tenorio, Dain Leones, Denise Pello, and Elle Pascual, formerly known as the Calista p-pop girl group, has officially concluded," the statement read.

"We sincerely thanked them for the memories and milestones we have shared and wish them continued success in all their future endeavors."

Meanwhile, Wide International announced that they inked a contract with Calista in a signing event held in Thailand.

The group also attended the Thailand International Festival (TILFF) and supported the film "I Fell, It's Fine" starring Glaiza De Castro and Rhian Ramos.

The members are yet to release a statement.

Calista, or Call It a Star, is one of the rising girl groups in the Philippines. Calista debuted in 2022 with the pop-house single "Race Car," where they sang about being resilient to achieve their dreams.

Member Denise recently competed in the second season of "Stars on the Floor."

Among the group's songs are "Alas Dose," "Ugnayan," and "LMK (Let Me Know)."
