PEP: Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano are now okay
Sunshine Cruz sat down and talked with members of the entertainment media while waiting for the press conference of Petit Monde to start Friday at Annabel's Restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. In the interview, the sexy actress gladly told the media that she and husband Cesar Montano are now okay. It can be recalled that this celebrity couple experienced a marital problem in the last weeks of 2007. This started when rumors spread about Cesar being linked to a Brazilian model named Mariana del Rio. Following this, a news report also came out saying that Sunshine left their home in Quezon City. However, Cesar denied this and casually said, "Oh, one of those tampuhans lang ng mag-asawa." Months after this issue, there were also entertainment news saying that Cesar is wooing his wife back. It seemed that the "panunuyo" has worked for Cesar because he got Sunshine back. Sunshine did not elaborate more about this. In fact, when PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asked her if they're living in the same house again, she just replied, "Naku, dapat yata siya ang tinatanong niyo." However, she assured the media that she realized how much she loves her husband. In fact, when entertainment columnist Ricky Lo asked her about the lesson she learned from their recent marriage problem, she answered, "Leksyon? Na talagang mahal ko siya. Mahal ko siya, na kahit ano'ng pagsubok ang dumating, nandito pa rin ako para sa kanya." She added that from the very beginning of their relationship, she knew that Cesar is the last man for her. "I have never imagined living my life without him," said Sunshine. "Hindi ko nai-imagine ang buhay ko... Mahirap magsalita ng tapos, pero sa totoo lang, hindi ko nai-imagine ang sarili ko na magkakaroon ng iba pang lalaki sa buhay." What did she miss about Cesar? "Na-miss ko 'yong lambing niya, kasi malambing na tao talaga si Cesar. At saka 'yong sense of humor, kasi pilyo, makulit, 'yong ganun. 'Yon ang nami-miss ko sa kanya." Sunshine admits that Cesar is still making an effort to make up for the things that happened in their relationship. She described, "Gumagawa naman siya kahit little efforts, kahit 'yong magdadala ng food, ipagsya-shopping ang kids. Siyempre, matutuwa ako as a mom kung gagawin niya 'yon. Small things na for me... sabi ko nga it doesn't matter kung big or small. Malaking bagay pa rin sa akin 'yon kasi alam kong nag-e-effort siya." Then, The Ricky Lo Exclusives host asked, "Napag-usapan niyo ba 'yong tungkol sa mga selosan?" The 30-year-old actress smiled and answered, "Wala, hindi na namin pinag-uusapan ang mga 'yan. Basta, lahat ngayon nasa postive muna kami since magki-Christmas, gusto naman naming mag-Christmas together. So, hindi na muna namin pinag-uusapan ang mga 'yan. Ang importante na lang, gawin namin lahat para sa family para sa ikatitibay ng pamilya namin." She remained consistent about being mum on the "selosan" issue because when entertainment columnist Ethel Ramos asked her again about this, her response was, "Tita, no comment po. I have changed na po." In spite of the little details that she gave to the media, Sunshine assured them that she will be spending Christmas with Cesar and their three daughters. She told the media, "Mayroon siyang [Cesar] plano na baka with the kids mag-Hong Kong Disneyland. If not, kahit naman sa bahay lang, Tito Ricky, just as long as we're together." Lastly, she also left a message for her husband this coming Christmas, and it went: "Maging stronger lalo and, ano lang, kahit ano pang pagsubok ang dumating, kakayanin namin. 'Yon naman ang na-realize namin ni Cesar, e. Ang importante talaga is 'yong kaming dalawa nagkakaintindihan at hindi 'yong sinasabi ng ibang tao na nasa paligid." - Philippine Entertainment Portal
