Ayon kay Illac, "To tell you the truth, we were there. We sent an official letter to her office. My Shelter Foundation wanted to secure whatever machines, so we sent a letter to her that we are now separating from her office." Ang dahilan daw ng desisyon nilang humiwalay na sa opisina ni Angelica ay "lack of liquidation" at "lack of transparency." Dagdag niya, "And then with the billings that she sent us, we could not accept the way that she has liquidated the funds. So to preserve whatever was left, we wanted to get the machines and we wanted to collect the cements, which we asked from our donors. "She sent over a lot of police who where there and then she arrived. And then, when we said we are just taking the cements, she said, 'No, this is ours.' And I said, 'No, you sent over two trucks to collect 1,200 boxes of cement, we've only seen 400 here. So, as earliest now, we would like to secure this. And since this is the property of My Shelter Foundation, no provincial funds... It's very clear that the funds came from us. We wanted to transport it to another secured warehouse.' "That's when she started hitting me," patuloy na kuwento ni Illac. "She said, 'Wala kang pasalamat.' And then she was saying 'don't do this sa bayan ko' and started hitting me. "And then what happened, behind me, I can see her mother and the mother grabbed and pulled my hair. And if the police didn't stop her, her brother would have punched me, and he was calling me 'bakla.' "I said, 'Is this the way that you treat people that want to donate and want to volunteer?' So, I said, 'Ganito ba yung board member n'yo dito sa Laguna? How can somebody such a position act this way?' "So, the mother... Ms. Celia Lopez came in fact to pull me out because nga Angelica Jones was attacking me and I did not have anything. I did not say anything bad, I did not accuse her what she said na slander," mahabang saad ni Illac. "They sent over on February 15 their liquidation reports that have nothing to do with the original agreement," sabi ni Illac. "This is exactly how the original agreement is—that if we give P2.4 million of materials, the Province of Laguna will give twenty percent of the labor. So, private-public partnership, which is we give 2.4 [million pesos] and they should give 20 percent, which is 480,000 worth of labor. Yun ang share ng province as we'll bring 2.4 million worth of materials and cash, and the province will give 480,000 worth of labor." NO ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP. "Julia and I are strong. She's a wonderful woman and at the same time, she's very busy. She has priorities, so do I. "What we really want is if we're being harassed by something that doesn't exist, then there shouldn't be pain. We realized that it's a destruction and the media should understand also that they're being taken for a ride, so no amount of crying, no amount of telling stories..." Ang gusto na lang niyang iparating sa actress-politician ay ito: "Yung public leadership is for public good and by destruction or creating this kind of controversy, since I did not say anything and it was you that attacked me, and it was you that put all the police there to find a way to make us feel uncomfortable and threaten us, this thing should not exist. "In the end, schools are important, then we should do everything possible to spend the money wisely and to create all the school possible which are currently lacking. So, as public leader, your role is not to create showbiz tsismis, it's for the public good." - Gorgy Rula, PEP
