American Idol judge Steven Tyler to Jessica Sanchez: 'You may be the one’

Jessica Sanchez wowed her mentors, the studio audience, and judges of American Idol Season 11 with her rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You." During the mentoring session with A.I.'s permanent judge Jimmy Iovine and guest mentor Mary J. Blige, the 16-year-old American with Filipino and Mexican blood made Blige squeak. The rapper-actress judge was trying to sing along with Jessica when she let out an excited squeak. Blige quickly covered her mouth afterwards, while Jimmy giggled at what Blige just did. Onstage, after Jessica's performance, A.I. judge Jennifer Lopez got so excited that she stood up, jumped up and down, and then urged the studio audience to clap some more for Jessica. (Uploaded to YouTube by IdolxMuzik) Randy Jackson commented, "Jessica Sanchez is legit! "This is one of the hardest songs in the world to sing. You, not only are the best vocal of the night, I think you're one of the best singers in this whole competition. Oh, my God!" Jennifer was nearly speechless with Jessica's performance. "Just, just...amazing! I don't even know what to say. I'm speechless. "It was beautiful, Jessica. You're so talented, God bless you!" Steven Tyler, on the other hand, kept it short and straight to the point. "Jessica... you may be the one. You just made 40 million people cry." -- PEP.ph
