Tanggap ng Asia's Songbird na si Regine Velasquez na nakatuon na ang spotlight ngayon sa mas batang singers.

Sabi niya, “Yeah, siguro naman.

"I've been in the business for a long time and I'm just happy being part of something like this, being able to see them grow.

"A lot of the singers that are coming out are now sikat."

Binanggit ni Regine sina Kyla, Angeline Quinto, Jonalyn Viray, at Sarah Geronimo.

“I'm happy to say that I became part of their careers. I'm happy that I was also once their inspiration.

“I should be more happy, 'di ba? That's good enough for me.”

Saad pa ni Regine, ang prayoridad niya ngayon ay ang kanyang pamilya.

“I'm a mommy now, I'm a wife, so medyo iba na rin ang priorities ko.

"Although I'm still here, I'm still working, I'm still doing my best to entertain people.

“But it's not like before anymore.

“I'm no longer interested in competing with anyone kasi parang pinagdaanan ko na 'yan in my earlier years; joining amateur singing contests, been there, done that.

“Also, finally, when I became a recording artist, I also went through that whole healthy competition with all other artists.

“Siguro puwedeng hindi ko na isipin 'yon and just think of my husband and my son, and once in a while be happy with the projects I'm given.”
