Baron Geisler's camp speaks up on Pampanga bar incident

Naniniwala ang mga namamahala sa career ni Baron Geisler na isang uri ng diskriminasyon ang hindi pagpapasok sa aktor sa isang bar sa Angeles City, Pampanga.

Kamakailan ay kumalat sa Internet ang video kung saan nakipagtalo si Baron sa isang bouncer pagkatapos siyang hindi papasukin sa loob ng Skytrax bar dahil diumano lasing siya.

Ngayong Huwebes ng gabi, July 9, ay nagpadala ang ALV Talent Circuit Inc., ang management company ni Arnold Vegafria na siyang namamahala sa career ni Baron, ng official statement sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) upang ibigay ang panig ng aktor.

Dito ay kinondena nila ang diskriminasyon diumanong dinanas ni Baron mula sa bouncer at sa management ng bar.

May sapat daw na dahilan ang aktor na kuwestyunin kung bakit hindi siya pinapapasok sa isang establisimyento na nagbibigay ng aliw at nagbebenta ng alak.

Pahayag ng ALV, “As can be seen in the longer version of video, Baron may have overreacted due to frustration but had reason and was well within his rights to question and demand explanation from the manager or somebody who had authority, why he was being denied admission into a public place that offers entertainment and serves alcoholic beverages.

“We do not know of any bar that discriminates against incoming patrons whether they appear inebriated or not."

Dagdag pa nila, "We can only conclude that this is a result of the stigma caused by similar incidents involving Mr. Geisler in the past.

“Management caused the incident and aggravated the situation by hurting the feelings of Baron."

Base na rin sa lumabas na video, malinaw na walang dahilan kung bakit tumanggi ang bar na papasukin ang aktor, maliban na lang sa "he is Baron Geisler with obvious past issues."

Patuloy ng management team ni Baron, “Nevertheless, a place for entertainment open to the public, locals and foreigners alike, cannot single out any individual purely because of the stigma of his past, unaccompanied by any illegal act, untoward incident, violation of law, ordinance and rules of the establishment."

Nagpapasalamat naman ang ALV na sa kabila ng komosyon sa labas ng bar ay pinili ni Baron na umalis na lang mula sa nasabing insidente. -- For the full story, visit PEP.
