Lucy Torres has one major love advice to daughter Juliana Gomez

Like most moms, Lucy Torres gets sentimental about how fast time flies.

When her unica hija Juliana Gomez turned 16 last year, the politician recounted in vivid details the day she and husband Richard Gomez brought their baby home "tiny as a little kitten, swaddled in a yellow blanket embroidered with pretty flowers and a bonnet to match."

On Instagram, she also wrote, "Each night, you would want me to carry you forever and ever and although for the first few months I was this breastfeeding, sleepless, and tired mommy, it was the happiest kind of tired, and you would reward me daily anyway with a thousand little smiles, all of them imprinted in that part of my memories that is tender, and sweet.

"I would stare at you while you slept (something I still do to this day), my heart filled to overflowing with that pure kind of love every mother feels for her child."
Lucy likes posting sweet nothings for Juliana on Instagram.

One time, the 42-year-old celebrity mom remembered giving her then-four-year-old daughter a book.

It was back when Lucy was the center of Juliana's universe, her "playmate on-call."
Juliana even told her, "Mama, I wish we met already when you were little!"

The note on the book's first page read: "To my beautiful Juliana.

"There is never a day that you do not make my heart burst with joy.

"Know that I will love you forever and ever and ever...

"Each day more than the one before that."

 

I gave this book to you when you were 4 years old, @gomezjuliana, back when I was your playmate on-call and you would say things like 'Mama, I wish we met already when you were little!'?? I love you forever and always, my bundle of joy.????

And just like most moms, Richard's wife has been adjusting to the fact that she's raising a teenager.

In a short chat with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last March 12, 2017, Lucy revealed her major struggle: "It's challenging because you have to balance being a mother and a friend."

But it pays to have a "good, easy child" because that makes the journey less arduous.

And despite the changes, Juliana will be her "forever happy pill" and her parents' "baby girl."

Juliana is undoubtedly a stunner. Is she already allowed to entertain suitors?

Her mom was quick to say, "No, no, no! She's too young.

"I know that, that time will eventually come, but not yet.

"She's only 16."
