'Glee' announces return, with Lea Michele reportedly reprising her role

It’s official: “Glee” is returning to our screens!

On X, the official account of “Glee” shared the news with a teaser captioned, “Currently gleeking out!”

According to an exclusive report by Variety, Lea Michele is set to reprise her role as Rachel Berry.

Aside from Lea, two other cast members have teased their possible returns: Heather Morris (Brittany Pierce) and Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans), who both posted about potentially reprising their roles on social media.

“Brittany S Pierce was, in fact, lost in the sewers for all these years, but I’m here to inform you that she is alive and well,” Heather wrote.

Meanwhile, Chord took to X and wrote, “Reunited and it feels so good!”

“Glee” is a comedy-drama series that ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2015.

Two of its original cast members, Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera, passed away in 2013 and 2020, respectively.
