Alanis Morissette comes out as pansexual: 'I get everything'

Alanis Morissette has come out as pansexual.

The "Ironic" hitmaker casually shared the revelation in the latest episode of the "Handsome Podcast," hosted by Tig Notaro and Mae Martin.

"I'm pansexual, so I get everything," she said.

The revelation caught the hosts by surprise, prompting Tig to ask, "Wait, you're not really pansexual, are you?"

"You know, I like to leave it for the epilogue," Alanis responded.

"I like to confuse people on the way out," she added. "Is it confusing?"

Pansexuality is a sexual orientation characterized by attraction to people regardless of their sex, gender identity, or gender expression.

Alanis last performed in the Philippines in 2023, with Ice Seguerra opening the show.

Aside from "Ironic," she is known for hits "You Oughta Know," "Hand in My Pocket," and "Thank U." —Hermes Joy Tunac/MGP, GMA News
