Nyong'o's Oscar dress stolen

The pearl gown worn by actress Lupita Nyong'o at Sunday's (February 22) Academy Awards was stolen from her West Hollywood hotel room on Wednesday (February 25). The custom Calvin Klein gown was adorned with 6,000 pearls and is valued at 150,000 dollars.

 

The Oscar-winning actress made multiple best-dressed lists with the outfit. It was stolen from her room at the luxury hotel, The London West Hollywood.

 

The West Hollywood Sheriff's Department said they were investigating the theft. — Reuters
