Popular US television host Mario Lopez Jr. joined the list of celebrities who visited Filipino boxing champ Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao as the frenzy ramps up for the latter's May 2 bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Lopez also did a brief spiel of sorts for GMA News, summarizing Pacquiao's sparring session for the day—all while holding a GMA mic.

In an Instagram video, Lopez said Pacquiao had him doing a "Good Morning America Philippines" spiel:

"So my boy Manny Pacquiao's got me doing Good Morning America Philippines, check out this mic," he said.

He said Pacquiao had eight tough rounds of sparring at the Wild Card gym.

"And he's finished the last round, great day today, great day in training," he said.

GMA News' Connie Sison also posted a photo of Lopez's brief GMA spiel:

Lopez—who first gained fame on the late 80's teen sitcom, Saved By The Bell—has appeared in several US TV shows, including "Dancing with the Stars" and the entertainment magazine show "Extra."

He has also published books on fitness, cooking, and a children's book.
