Selena Gomez releases new video for ‘Fetish’

Pop star Selena Gomez dropped the video for her new single Fetish Wednesday, and my my the sweet singer seems all grown up. She's gone "dark" in this intense interpretation of the song's lyrics.

It features a dreamy '70s aesthetic that reminded us of Sofia Coppola movies.

Directed by Petra Collins, the video has garnered mixed reactions, too, with people making fun of the fact that in it the singer was eating things like soap and what looks like broken glass.

Media outlets, like Bustle however, are quick to defend the pop star pointing out that the song is about addiction.

“Mental health issues are important to Gomez,” the American website explained, before pointing out that in 2016, Gomez “took a break to deal with the side effects of her struggle with lupus, including anxiety and depression.”
