The Guinness World Records recognized a viral 2015 Twitter post on the now-famous tandem of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza on Hashtag Day on August 23 (August 24, PHL Time).
In its official Twitter account, the Guinness World Records said "the most used hashtag in 24 hours on Twitter was #AlDubEBTamangPanahon."

The post was inspired by a benefit concert and celebrity couple Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.
The duo is known as AlDub, which is derived from their popular names Alden and Yaya Dub, which is the name of Mendoza's character in a so-called Kalye Serye in popular noontime show Eat Bulaga shown on GMA network.
