Fil-Am actor Darren Criss, Rami Malek, 'Black Panther' win at Screen Actor Guild Awards

LOS ANGELES, Jan 27 (Reuters) — The 2019 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards for film and television were handed out during a televised ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Fil-Am actor and recent Golden Globe awardee Darren Criss was among the night's big winners, having been given the award for Best Actor for a Limited Series TV/Movie for his work in "The Assassination of Gianni Versace."

On his way to the awarding ceremony, the Fil-Am actor tweeted, "Being nominated alongside Antonio Banderas, Hugh Grant, Anthony freakin Hopkins, and Bill Pullman is a feather in my cap I could have never imagined."
