Kpop star Chung Ha under quarantine after staff tested positive for COVID-19


Kpop star Chung Ha is now under quarantine after two of her staff who were with her in Italy tested positive for the novel coronavirus COVID-19, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Hirit on Monday.

When they returned to South Korea, the two staff members showed symptoms of COVID-19.

According to Chung Ha's agency MNH Entertainment, the Kpop star tested negative for COVID-19 but she still needed to undergo quarantine in accordance with regulations set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of South Korea.

Chung Ha's commitments have thus been canceled.

 

 

On her Instagram, fans wished Chung Ha good health.

The Kpop star used to be a member of the girl group I.O.I. and became popular for the songs "Snapping" and "Roller Coaster."

Thirty-four people have died in Italy due to COVID-19 as of Sunday, according to a Reuters report.

Meanwhile, in South Korea, there were 3,736 cases of COVID-19 as of Sunday. —KG, GMA News
