EXO's Suho confirms date of military enlistment


Suho, one of the members of popular Korean boyband EXO, has confirmed his enlistment date in the military.

According to a report on Soompi, the K-pop star shared a handwritten letter in the band's official online fan community space to announce his enlistment.

"On May 14, I will be enlisting in the military to carry out my duties. I think I will really miss our EXO-L during that time," Suho said.

"I hope our EXO-L, who think of me and love me every day, will always be healthy. I sincerely thank you, and I love you," he added.

South Korean men aged 18 to 28 are required to render military service for around two years.

Suho is the third member of EXO to enlist in the military, after Xiumin and D.O.

He recently released a music video for his new single "Let's Love." He also dropped a mini album titled "Self-Portrait." 

EXO visited the Philippines for a show last year. They were supposed to have another concert in February, but it was cancelled due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). —MGP, GMA News
