Will Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin visit Manila together in the future?

"Crash Landing On You" stars Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin have become the new faces of Smart Communications Inc. But can fans expect them to visit Manila in the future?

According to one of the Smart representatives in an online press conference on Monday, Luzon Marketing Head for Smart Shing Dimagiba they don't have immediate plans yet but it is something they themselves are excited to see.

"As we know both of them are very, very big stars with jam packed schedules all year round so we're definitely looking forward to their visit once their situation improves. We still have to work it out," he said.

Smart revealed that Son Ye Jin has previously visited Palawan and the Philippine telco representatives said Son Ye Jin would like to go back and meet her fans.

In the exclusive video interview they showed during the online press conference, Son Ye Jin said she wanted to go to the Philippines to shoot the TVC with Smart but given the circumstances she wasn't able to do so.

"Actually I wanted to go to the Philippines and shoot. And the fans who loved the drama sent me so many messages of support on social media," she said.

"It's just so sad that I could not come to see all the fans in person but I'm always very thankful and happy to be able to meet them in this way," she added.

According to Smart representatives, Son Ye Jin's partnership with them involves a visit to the Philippines. The only questions are when and whether will she be coming with Hyun Bin.

The video ad revelation featured Son Ye Jin fiercely riding a Ducati motorcycle.

At the latter part of the video ad, a sports car arrives behind her and then they both speed off the road on their respective vehicles. It may be remembered that in Hyun Bin was riding a sports car in his own ad for the Philippine telco.

"Crash Landing On You" features Hyun Bin as Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok, a North Korean soldier who falls in love with South Korean heiress Yoon Seri, played by Son Ye Jin.
