Ogie Alcasid's father passes away

Actor-singer Ogie Alcasid has announced through his social media accounts early Tuesday morning that his father has passed away.

Alcasid posted a message on his Instagram, "I will miss you so much Dad."

"My heart grieves knowing you are gone but i am at peace because you are in the loving arms of our Father in heaven. I love you so much Daddy."

Alcasid's father, Hermino Alcasid Sr., was a former board member of the PNOC Development and Management Corp. -- BAP, GMA News
