Harry Styles, Lily James to star in LGBT romance film together -reports
Harry Styles and Lily James are reportedly starring in a film together!
According to Deadline, Amazon has closed a deal with Berlanti Schechter Productions to produce the film based on the acclaimed novel "My Policeman" by Bethan Roberts.
Styles and James are in negotiations to star in the currently untitled film.
Tony Award winner Michael Grandage is set to direct the film, while Oscar-nominated writer Ron Nyswaner will be in charge of the script.
Set in the 1950s, "My Policeman" follows gay policeman Tom Burgess who catches the attention of Marion, a schoolteacher. However, Tom is in love with museum curator Patrick.
According to reports, production of the film is set to start next summer.
Styles, a former member of boy band One Direction, made his acting debut in "Dunkirk" (2017).
James is known for her lead roles in "Cinderella" (2015), "Baby Driver" (2017), and "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" (2018). —JCB, GMA News
