GOT7’s Yugyeom reported to leave JYP Entertainment

Yugyeom of GOT7 is reportedly leaving his agency, JYP Entertainment, after his contract expires this January.

Citing an exclusive report by Korean media outlet SpoTV News, Soompi said the K-pop artist is planning to sign up with hip-hop label AOMG founded by former 2PM member Jay Park.

JYP, on the other hand, reportedly released a statement saying: “We are still discussing various possibilities regarding GOT7’s contracts, and we will inform you when we are ready."

Last December, it was reported that another GOT7 member, Jinyoung, also held meetings with another agency for a potential exclusive contract.

GOT7, who debuted in 2014, is composed of JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam and Yugyeom.

The K-pop group just released an album, “Breath of Love: Last Piece,” last November.
