Eva Green expresses admiration for Chai Fonacier: ‘She blew me away!’
French actress Eva Green has showered with admiration and praise our very own Chai Fonacier, her co-star in the upcoming thriller “Nocebo.”
On Instagram, Eva shared a black and white photo of herself with her “fabulous co-star” Chai.
“Chai is truly a great actress with extraordinary depth and sensitivity,” she wrote.
“She was an incredible partner - she blew me away!”
Chai, who won best supporting actress for the 2016 film “Patay na si Hesus,” is set to star in “Nocebo” alongside Eva and Mark Strong.
She will play a Filipino caregiver who uses traditional folk healing to help Eva’s character know more about her mysterious illness.
The new film, which is set to be produced both in the Philippines and in Ireland, is directed by “Vivarium” director Lorcan Finnegan, written by Garret Shanley, and produced by Emily Leo, Brunella Cocchiglia, and Filipino producers Bianca Balbuena an Bradley Liew.
It’s also being developed by Screen Ireland, XYZ Films, Media Finance Capital, and The Film Development Council of the Philippines.
